COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by Corona virus.
Majority of people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. Older people, and persons having underlying medical problems like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease like Ashma, Bronchitis, Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and diagnosed with cancer get more severely infected.
The COVID-19 virus spreads primarily through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose when an infected person coughs or sneezes.
There are no specific vaccines or treatments for COVID-19. However, there are many ongoing clinical trials evaluating potential treatments.
1. Fever. 2. Dry cough. 3. Tiredness. 4. Loss of taste or smell
Some may catch;
1. Sore throat. 2. Diarrhea. 3. Headache. 4. Change in color of toe nails
1. Difficulty breathing 2. Chest pressure. Immediately call the ambulance for these symptom.
People show symptoms 5-6 days after catching the virus . The symptoms can exists up-to 28 days maximum .But most of them recover within 14 days.
Prevent infection and to slow transmission :
1. Wash your hands frequently with soap and water or alcohol based sanitizers 2. Avoid touching your face 3. Wear a mask when go outside 4. Maintain 1 m distance from people 5. Cover your mouth while sneezing or coughing 6. Stay home if feel sick 7. Avoid long distance travel 8. Do exercise like breathing exercises , yoga,meditation to stay positive. 9. Keep yourself busy, motivated, learn new things, video chat with your friends and family discuss these with them, keep them informative. 10. Boost your immune system with anti oxidants;like green tea, Vitamin C ,Zinc tablet,Aloe Vera ,Amla juice,Tulsi tea, Vitamin B Complex, Vitamin A and E.
